Anyways, like 2 weeks ago, i went to the green day concert with mia. yea i know...why would i pay 45 dollars for that? actually i have to admitt that it was fun. jimmy eat world opened up for green day and they honestly played really good despite the bad sound of the arena. like, they blew me away...and thats rare. MOMENTS-(mia knows) guy in pink bunny suit, mini billy, free posters, the stage dive and the classic billy moon! funny thing was that when we came home, we still had no power. so yea, next concert...EMERY. woot woot i know it seems weird, but im vice prez, and were working on a kick ass homecoming. oh yea. its random but yea... /\ ___/\ / \ ______________L__ \/\/ \/

((buried their head) | Saosin ) summer is almost over [01 Aug 2005|02:09pm] [ mood | giddy ] [ music | bmg-rods and cones ] *haha. well since i havent updated in a while and alot of things have happened...this is gonna be long...be prepared...i warned you. For vacation we went to the grand canyon/las vegas. For all the details and pics, ask me. we flew to vegas and drove 6 hours to the canyon ..and it was hazy because of a fire highlights: -the scavenger hunt -the flute player -the hoover dam tour -the tusayan ruins -the river raft ride -the train ride -the western show **vegas highlights: -the 120 degree weather -the buffets -magic and circus and mardi gras shows (yea!!) we saw the blue man group. awesome show. best part is that me and my dad were in it and after the show i got good pics with them! (toilet paper *cough cough*) I bought the cd. im listening to it right now. we also went to a hynosis show and i was hynotized!!!! he made me do funny and embarrasing things lol. my dad bought the dvd so everyone can see and make fun of me!!!!! ***so that was basically a very short version of my vacation. when i came home i experienced major jetlag....figures. the other day mia, govi, danny, guy and I went to see "bad news bears" i coulnt stop laughing. Well anyways, my summer has been awesome so far. Last week I went camping for 2 nights in my back yard. lol. So many things happened. The first night we (me, danny, and mia) thought we were being attacked by an alligator. It turned out to be a piece of seaweed in the lake. The second night, we woke up because of the sprinklers at 4 in the morning. Every thing was soaking wet, but at least it was fun. So yea. That was our adventure into the unknown. lol. Tomorow, were going on our official vacation to the grand canyon and las vegas...woot woot. Its even hotter than over here. Its scavenger hunt time!!!! I know i havent written in this thing in a while but thats because im waiting for something to happen. On May 12(a wonderous day)i went to revolution to see underoath!!!! go me! I didnt write this in my journal earlier because i wanted it to sink in. Now that it has,ill only write the highlights of my night. 1)i got there at 4:30, and i was like at the front of the line. i was also right in front of underoath's tour bus. it was shading me from the brutal sun. 2) the club looked really cool by the way..anyways this kid that was behind me passed out and had to be taken awy by security. 3)when that kid left, these 3 anoying girls named peanut butter and jelly were right behind me and wouldnt shut up. i felt like telling them to shut the hell up but i just resorted to hit them while everyone was moshing. 4)i was really close to the stage and i almost touched the bassist or the guitarist of the chariot. 5) i got my ticket stub signed by david and adam from fear before the march of flames and saw spencer like 1 foot in front of me but i couldnt get his autograph cuz of the security guard practically dragging me out. ahhh it was so awesome. underoath definitely owned!! ima go see them again and again. then sat was jonathan's partay. it was a luau and i got laid! get it? moving on. i had a great time making fun of jonathan lol and dancing with everyone. i almost caught on fire!! and these kids named joseph and melanie got in trouble with jonathans mom cuz they were making out like in the back yard haha it was so funny. when i left, everyone went into the pool, not that i couldve gone anyways because im sick. but i had alot of funn!!! wat else happened? i dunno, i cant remember anything else that happened. im gonna be in musical theater and were probabaly gonna do the phantom of the opera next year!!!!!! yay! so yea... :+:Lynette:+:

( Saosin ) the brightness bulb has burned out... [25 Mar 2005|07:13pm] [ mood | my abs hurttt ] [ music | SF-the irony of dying on your birthday ] Yesterday, i went to the hard rock casino with mia. What at day of unexpected events. At first, we went into all the stores including quicksilver(very awesome) and this art gallery(very frightnening).Later on we got hungry, and we sat down to eat at this sports bar and it took this really SLOW stupid lady 15 hours to get us our food. Lucky we had fireworks and this mime lady that was dressed in white to entertain us. I was really tempted to throw mulch at her to see if she moved. We went into this arcade place but we couldnt play because we had to be 21 or older. wtf?? when do you see 50 years playing air hockey???? yes it was very puzzling.. and to make matters worse, there were some jimmy hendrix wannabees playing some gig. O yea, and i also got this paint tattoo of a rose with thorns. ok, so we were getting ready to leave the parking lot and it turns out we have a flat tire. PARTY!! mia and i were stranded for like half an hour with only mints to eat!! haha...so much fun:) Today i went to the movies with mia, segovia, guy and danny. we saw mrs.conginiality(???) it was good. segovia coulnt stop staring at this kid from her skool. she says the kid got beat up and got a slushy or swirly or whatever its called. haha...that sux. govi and guy left, and me and mia stayed up watching movies!!! Tina, u fat lard, come get some dinner. i think that john (napoleon) died. anyways, today i had to wake up early to be at skool at 9:30. NOT FUN. i had to go to skool and reherse for a play that im gonna be in. we had to do stuff over and over..but it was fun.(exept for the part that my teacher almost starved us) -govi how did u like the mix???

((buried their head) | Saosin ) lets celebrate [25 Feb 2005|06:02pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | Finch- what it is to burn ] *****HAPPY BIRTHDAY BERT***** ive been really bored lately so i decided to do a little research on my favorite bands.(no im not a stalker) just yesterday, i found out that today, Bert is turning 23!! congrats to him. i found out some freaky stuff..i dont kno whether its true or not. i heard that bert and gerard were making out and bert said "i bet people think were gay" and gerard said "you know what they do to us guys in prison" so thats how the idea for the song and berts cameo came to be. i dont kno if thats true, but i thought that was fuuny. Bert's ex girlfriend died of a drug overdose last 4th of july. whats really sad is that she was pregnant with berts baby.='( aww. i was talking to this kid on this site (and by the way he really loves the used) and he told me that on the cover of AP mag, bert worte his # backwards and upsidedown. the kid actually called it and got bert's voicemail...and i got the #. ((buried their head) | Saosin ) TASTE OF CHAOS [23 Feb 2005|08:13pm] [ mood | drowning in my sleep ] [ music | underoath-'dangerous bussiness walkin out ur front door' ] Last Saturday was a night ill never forget. For those of you that didnt get to go, heres a play-by-play of the wonderous night.lol. i got there like at 4:30 only to be like at the end of the line. They opened at the gate at 5 sharp. there was a big pit waiting to be let into the stage and i was rite in the middle. imagine all the those people trying to climb stairs at full speed. i didnt get a good spot in the front, so we got seats that were pretty close up. 1) after what felt like 3 hours of sound check, A STATIC LULLABY played about 5 songs. i didnt kno the words, but i liked their energy. 2)next was UNDEROATH <3 they played an awesome show. i was completely blown away.their energy was just..w0w 3)next up was KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. i only heard one song that i wasnt too crazy about, and used that time to go but myself suveniers. after going around in circles trying to decide wat to buy, i finally figured out wat i wanted. i got a white 20/20 shirt, a red underoath shirt w/ rats (so cute) and the underoath cd. i love my new shirts! 4)after kse, SENSES FAIL played. the singer was all fancy, but over all, they were okay. 5) finally the real concert started. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE started playing. omg! they were so awesome!!! Gerard was wearing a black suit and a red tie and he had a big black stripe accross his eyes. he looked like a beautiful racoon! they were trying to be ghetto saying "yo miami". right before they played TO the End, he sang "here comes the bride.." and they dedicated Helena to their gramma. awww. thier energy was incredible!! im definitely seeing them again. 6)last but not least, was THE USED. the light show for Take it Away was really coolio. they played alot of their slow new stuff though. Bert looked cool. we was just 'bert'. branden was wearing a hat so i couldnt see his hair. i think it was black. quinn had blonde hair of course and a black shirt and i dint really pay attention to jeph..hehe. right before they played On My Own, bert said "i want you guys to turn around and hug the person next to you" it was a touching moment and that night i was so happy to be there that i almost cried. bert kept coming up with random comments like "right now, my breath smells like pussy. i ate a cat today." and "you guys are better than Orlando" i guess he forgot about the no curse word policy and he had us chant the f word. how lovely. i think something happened, and the band had to cut their performance short, so their ending wasnt great, but all in all, i loved them. ****moments**** -danny actually liked the frozen nasty hamburger -there was a lil john crunk juice truck at the enterance -my dad and 2 other people fell off their chairs -me getting jealous at terrell cuz he saw jeph lol j/k -marlon's adventure story ~~~lynette~~~

[17 Jan 2005|08:31pm] [ mood | blah ] [ music | AFI-'now the world' ] hi ppls! i had a 4 day weekend.yay. well ive had alot on my mind lately and luckily ive had a couple days to sort things out. this whole week was a blur. it happened way too fast. first i learned that ruben pabon, a kid that i went to skool with since 5th and 6th grade died. it seems like just yesterday we were hanging out in p.e. cracking jokes. it really scares knowing that every breath we take could be our last. I also learned that my dad's friend's daughter, who is only 13 years old is 6 months pregnant. Everybody thinks that it will never happen to them and as soon as they stop being careful, things like these will happen. Now either she will kill the baby in an abortion, or she will literally give up her teenage freedoms to raise a baby. My neighbor Mikey is moving to Orlando, and i feel like i havent spent enough time with him as i would have like to. but i still luv ya Jade Cocoon! lol. ah yes those were good times, but it seems like its not enough. Lately i felt like i have grown farther away from my friends at school. i dunno why, but i dont feel as comfortable with them as i did a couple months ago. Everyones changing. Somehow though, i think its my fault. i cant find the time to hang out like we used to. It doesnt matter anymore though, my 2 best friends in skool, the ones that really know me are probably going to another skool soon. Now im going to start all over. I dont know why i am writing this on my journal, but it helps to write down all my feeligs when i have no one to tell them to. i feel alot better. Its like a window into my world. lol although right now its kinda gloomy. *sigh* ok heres wat happened during my weekend: fri- hung out with my dad at the hospital sat- celebrated my grandma and aunt's b-day at dolphin mall. we went to Texas de Brazil and stuffed our faces with MEAT, MEAT ANDMORE MEAT!!! sun- i hung out with mia all day. we played ddr and watched movies. then it was really cold outside, so we went walking outside and caught up with segovia and she gave us an update on everything in her skool. sun-i went to barnes an noble and got 2 new books.=) then govi came over and we downloaded afi and talked to terrell ALL FREAKIN DAY. thats it. interesting huh??

( Saosin ) [08 Jan 2005|03:36pm] [ mood | bored ] [ music | mcr- 'the jetset life is gonna kill you' ] hey hey hey!!! well im really bored. i have nothing else to do so im going around, posting comments on peoples ljs. yesterday was alot of fun. it was...intersting. at skool, we only had 4 classes to go to. yay!! then we had class meetings and we talked about field trips. 000 thats gonna be fun..cant wait. well my stomach was killing me cuz i was soo hungry. our skool was having an international food festival. if you payed 10 bucks, you got to go around and try food from like 7 different countries.yummmmmm. i had food from china, italy, mexico, belgium, cuba, france and i forgot the last one. the best part was the crepes. we called them craps but they wer soooo damn good. i got to dance and make a fool of myself. lol. (it was a dare) i also got to beat up my friend charles with a paper plate. haha it was so funny. well earlier, i got in trouble because my skool didnt allow white capris for that day. i was supposed to wear blue or black jeans. i didnt kno. the problem was that i didnt have any clean jeans so my mom had to bring me some new pants. they looked really baggy and i felt uncomfortable the rest of te day. i looked like a duck!! anyways, right after the food feast, we had a special chapel. the band was there, and they played fast songs. me and connie were jumping up and down and we got the whole entire skool to jump. o yea were special. we even started moshing. My friend Glen,(hes a really really short 7th grader) jumped off the stage and started crowd surfing. it was awesome!!! that was my day. lol. ~~ThE EnD~~

After my mom practically dragged me out of bed, i finally got to skool. my vacation ended too soon! =( We had a really boring chapel. i was falling asleep and i almost got in trouble for listening to my cd player in class. Today was really hard..and boring -47 more days until TOC!!! thats cheering me up already well i got nuthing important to share and nothing else to say ~~L~~
